About Alone Tone

A desktop tool for creating layered halftone artwork and print effects.

Alone Tone is an experimental desktop graphics application for turning images into layered halftone artwork. Users can import an image, automatically separate it into colour plates, edit ink colours, choose different halftone mark styles, simulate paper and physical print effects, transform layers and export finished artwork. The application is built with Tauri 2, React, TypeScript and Rust. It is designed to run on macOS and Windows without requiring a hosted backend. The sale includes the complete private source repository, application branding, interface assets, build configuration, documentation and transferable bundled assets. The project is pre-revenue and has not been commercially launched. Most of the core interface and rendering workflow is implemented, but the buyer should expect to continue engineering work before releasing it as a finished commercial product. Areas that still need attention include high-resolution rendering, export reliability, performance optimisation, platform testing and general product polish. Developer accounts, signing certificates, personal accounts and third-party paid services are not included.
