About Hearth: self-hosted AI teammate in pure Python
AI agent with permissions, audit log and GitHub/Slack/Linear connectors. No deps
A self-hosted AI teammate for internal teams, written in the Python 3 standard library only (no pip installs). It has permission tiers, an append-only audit log, memory, automations, and connectors for GitHub, Slack, Linear and MCP, all run from a local console UI. WHAT YOU GET Agent harness with permission tiers and an append-only audit log Memory, plus automations (schedules and triggers) Connectors for GitHub, Slack, Linear and an MCP client Web console on port 4700, plus a landing page A deterministic local planner so it runs with no model key. Anthropic, claude-cli and OpenAI-compatible brains can be switched on through environment variables Test suite (passing) TECH Python 3 standard library only, with no dependencies and no build step. It runs on any machine that has Python. WHY IT IS WORTH BUYING It is a clean, dependency-free starting point for anyone building an internal agent with real guardrails such as approvals, audit and permission tiers. It costs less than learning three agent frameworks. TO LAUNCH Set connector tokens and, optionally, a model key. Set HEARTHTOKEN before exposing it beyond localhost. TRANSFER Source zip and git bundle (fresh repo), with SHA-256 checksums Handover guide and due-diligence report 30 minutes of email handover. Payment through Escrow.com No accounts, keys, domains or revenue history included HONEST DISCLOSURES It has only been run and tested in no-LLM mode (the deterministic local planner). The Anthropic, claude-cli and OpenAI-compatible brains are implemented but were not tested end to end. The Slack and Linear connectors and the MCP client have never been run against the real services. GitHub read access was verified; GitHub writes were not. The hosted $29/org/month tier shown on the landing page does not exist. There are no customers, users or revenue. It includes a shell tool that runs commands on the host after human approval. The buyer is responsible for setting policies and HEARTHTOKEN. The name 'Hearth' has not been trademark-cleared and is used by other companies (e.g. gethearth.com). It shares design lineage with the seller's separate product Tacit. It is sold as-is, with no roadmap. There is no public live demo. Screenshots are attached, and a screen-share is available on request.
