About Sonic Broadcast + data-over-sound messenger
Two web apps that send messages between phones using only sound, no internet
Two live web apps built on one acoustic modem. The first sends a short text message between two phones using only sound, with no internet, WiFi, Bluetooth or pairing. The second, Sonic Broadcast, makes every phone in a room flash in sync and show the same message, all played from one speaker. WHAT YOU GET Messenger app (currently named SoundLink, which needs a rebrand; see disclosures): phone-to-phone text over sound using 16-tone audio FSK with a CRC error check, written in plain JavaScript on the Web Audio API. Live demo: suncal.github.io/soundlink Sonic Broadcast: one-to-many, room-scale broadcast where every listening phone flashes and shows the message. Live demo: suncal.github.io/sonicbroadcast Source zip and git bundle for both apps, with a README and screenshots. All rights in this codebase transfer to you TECH Vanilla JS and the Web Audio API. No backend, no dependencies, and $0 hosting on any static host. WHY IT IS WORTH BUYING No mainstream app does cross-platform, room-scale sound broadcast in the browser. Likely buyers are concert, classroom, wedding and event apps, so the pair can be licensed as well as sold as code. TO LAUNCH Rebrand, film one live demo in a real room, then approach event-app vendors. TRANSFER Source zip, plus a GitHub repo transfer on request 30 minutes of email handover No accounts, keys, domains or revenue history included HONEST DISCLOSURES Both apps use a classical FSK acoustic modem with a CRC check. They do not contain a neural codec or any ML model. Range is from a few feet up to a small quiet room at full phone volume, depending on the devices and room noise. Over-the-air reliability on real phones has not been independently verified. Earlier versions of both apps were published on GitHub under the MIT licence, and those public copies remain MIT-licensed. The sale transfers this codebase and its copyright, not exclusivity over the earlier MIT copies. 'SoundLink' is a registered trademark of Bose Corporation. The name is not included or cleared, and the buyer should rebrand. No users or revenue. The live demos run on the seller's GitHub Pages and are not part of the sale unless agreed.
Next step: <p>1) Rebrand and put it on your own domain (about 10 minutes, static hosting). 2) Film a short room demo of two phones swapping a message with no internet. 3) Pitch it to event apps, classrooms and offline-messaging niches, or wrap it as a white-label SDK.</p>
