Track vendor insurance certificates and catch lapses before they cost you.
What it is Binder tracks certificates of insurance for every vendor, subcontractor or tenant you work with. It reads what each certificate actually covers, checks it against the requirements you set for that vendor type, and tells you which ones are non-compliant today and which expire in the next thirty days. Why it exists Whoever holds the risk has to prove every vendor carries the cover their contract requires. In most organisations that job lives in a spreadsheet and a folder of PDFs, and the failure mode is quiet: a policy lapses, nobody notices, and the exposure only surfaces when there is a claim. Binder makes the lapse loud before it matters. The part buyers usually miss Requests go out to the vendor's insurance broker, not the vendor. The broker is the one who can actually produce the certificate, and they open the link as part of their normal day — which means the product markets itself to a professional audience every time it is used. Try it before reading another word Live demo, no signup: https://tekinworks.com/binder/ — the login is printed on the page (demo@binder.app / demo1234). It is loaded with a real-shaped vendor book, including certificates that fail on specific coverage lines rather than just expiry dates. Why the market is wider than it looks The established tools in this category start around two hundred certificates and are priced accordingly. Everyone below that line — property managers, mid-size general contractors, facilities teams, franchise operators — is doing it manually. And because every industry with vendors has this problem, a buyer does not need to know a particular vertical to sell it. What the buyer gets Full source code, documentation, the seed script, and 30 days of email support for setup. The demo above is the product. What is not included No revenue, no customers, no traffic, no email list. No domain. You deploy to your own server and connect your own Stripe. Honest scope Certificate data is entered or uploaded — there is no OCR of ACORD forms in this build, and that is the obvious first addition. No direct carrier or broker-system integrations. Single tenant per deployment.
Next step: <p>Deploy to your own server and Stripe account, register a domain, and pick one acquisition channel. The distribution here is unusually good: every commercial insurance broker sees this problem across their whole book, so brokers are a reseller channel rather than a cold audience, and property managers, general contractors and facilities teams are the direct buyers. Product-side, the obvious next builds are ACORD 25 parsing so certificates read themselves, automated renewal requests to the issuing agent, additional-insured and waiver-of-subrogation endorsement checks, and per-project rather than per-vendor requirement sets.</p>
For sale
Asking price: $3,000 USD
What's included
Source code, All related data, All related design work
Also included: full documentation, the seed script that builds the demo dataset, and 30 days of email support for setup. I will walk the buyer through a deployment on a call if that helps. Not included and worth stating plainly: no domain, no revenue, no customers, no traffic, no email list. I built a portfolio of vertical B2B tools and cannot take all of them to market myself — that is the honest reason this one is for sale, not a problem with the product.
Reason for selling
I build and sell vertical B2B SaaS outright - that is the business, not a side project I lost interest in. Binder is finished, deployed and documented. What it needs next is an owner who already knows insurance compliance, and that is not me: a broker or a risk manager who has chased an expired certificate will get further with it in a month than I would in a year.
