DSensei - Showcase Project

In today’s data-driven world, having efficient access to data and analytics is critical for success. However, making data accessible to everyone can be a challenge because raw data is typically not readily consumable. Individuals usually have to leverage SQL or data analytics tools to extract insights from the data, which is a complex and time-consuming process that requires expertise. As a consequence, it often falls to a small group of individuals to extract insights from raw data and transform it into a consumable format like dashboard and report, that the rest of the organization can use. This is limited because prepared data analytics result can only address a pre-determined set of questions and the bandwidth of the group of individual to prepare more is limited. Moreover, locating the right report and dashboard to answer a data question can be disruptive, especially when people need quick data points to inform decisions during a conversation or meeting. The goal of Dsensei is to eliminate the limitations by providing access to data and analytics through an interface everyone is familiar with. With DSensei, users can simply request data analytics in plain English and receive instant responses based on the data, all within the Slack. This makes it easier for individuals across the organization to quickly get the information they need to inform decisions and drive success. No more switching between different tools and dashboards, or waiting for a small group of experts to prepare data - with DSensei, anyone can access and analyze data in a more efficient and effective way.
