Rename invoice PDFs offline. Nothing leaves your Mac.
StampName is a Mac app for turning a folder of Invoice-0105.pdf and scan0042.pdf into a clean, searchable archive. Drop a batch of PDFs or scans. StampName reads the text layer, or runs Apple's on-device text recognition on scanned pages, and proposes a name such as 2026-03-14Acme-HostingINV-104249.00USD.pdf. Nothing is renamed until you apply it. Offline by design: no uploads, no account, no AI service, no analytics. Document text never leaves your Mac. Review mode shows where each value came from: date, vendor, number and amount are outlined on the page. Anything uncertain is flagged amber and waits for you. Safe: it never overwrites a file, name collisions get a suffix, and you can undo any batch, for free, at any time. Your format: build a pattern from date, vendor, number, amount, currency and category, with live sample names. Presets plus saved custom formats. Same file, same settings, same name.
