About Piti: Smart File Organizer
Intelligent file tagging assistant built exclusively for macOS
Piti is a free, lightning-fast intelligent file tagging assistant built exclusively for macOS. It is designed to bring order to chaotic directories, like a messy Downloads folder, without moving, deleting, or altering a single file. Using an advanced custom rules engine, Piti rapidly scans complex nested folders using all of your Mac's CPU cores to detect various file types (such as PDFs, archives, and code directories). It then suggests accurate, color-coded native macOS Finder tags that users can review and approve, allowing for instant filtering directly in the Mac's Finder sidebar. Built with a strong emphasis on privacy, Piti operates 100% locally on your device with zero data collection, no tracking analytics, and no accounts required. Despite its powerful capabilities, the application is incredibly lightweight at just 544.6 KB and is available for devices running macOS 14.0 or newer.
