About Teclo
Mechanical keyboard sounds and a keycap pet for your Mac
I type on a MacBook all day and missed the sound of a mechanical board, so I built Teclo. It plays a sound for every key press and release in any app, from the menu bar, and a small keycap pet types along: asleep when you stop, on fire when you keep the pace. All 16 packs are synthesized in the app, not recorded, across five moods (Mechanical, Night, Retro, Arcade, Scifi), and you can design or record your own. Teclo hears the key, not the letter: no account, no server, no typing history. macOS 13 or later. USD 4.99 once for a lifetime licence, with a 7-day free trial. I'd like to hear which sound you miss.
