Next step:
A buyer can take the LightCal project much further by transforming it from a simple calculator into a full-fledged educational platform. First, they can add user authentication to personalize the experience and track users' activity or saved calculations. They could monetize the tool by offering a premium version with ad-free access and additional features like downloadable results or advanced formula sets. Expanding the subject range to include Math, Chemistry, and Biology calculators would broaden the user base significantly. Adding multilingual support (e.g., Bengali, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic) would open the project to global students, especially in South Asia and the Middle East.

Turning the app into a mobile-friendly Progressive Web App (PWA) would make it more accessible and usable on smartphones without needing app stores. Partnering with schools or coaching centers could allow branded versions of LightCal to be embedded on their websites. The buyer could also integrate analytics tools to study user behavior and optimize the experience. Turning the project open-source on GitHub could attract contributors and help it grow faster. It can be sold as a license or white-label tool for educators and edtech companies. The buyer can list it on startup marketplaces like Microns or Flippa for further exposure or sale. Lastly, with strong marketing and SEO, LightCal could become a go-to micro-edtech tool for students worldwide.
