We certainly were, and so we built WillThisHappen.com, a one-of-a-kind website which takes the most talked about political events and predicts their outcome. How can we possibly do this you ask? WillThisHappen is powered by betting odds! Every hour WillThisHappen pulls the latest odds on all the most talked about upcoming political events and then makes them actually understandable, displaying the real-time likelihood, trends over time, and even the popularity of the topic at that moment. How much does it cost to run? Except for the annual domain renewal and basic website hosting…nothing! Even with hourly calls to a few different services, there is no cost.

Next step:  - Data analysis & ML (there's a huge opportunity to utilise this data for AI insights. Data is stored daily for each probability - including many completed ones, though note some periods do have missing data) - Expand beyond politics (no coding changes required to expand to just about any sport you can think of) - SEO the sh*t out of it! (something we wish we had focused on) - Automated bots (we have built a ready-to-use, logic-based natural language tool which picks out interesting changes and talks about it. We also have day-by-day data for a whole host of previous political events, which you may well be interested in either presenting to users or using for data analysis. WillThisHappen currently uses Google Cloud for data storage and display, AWS for data processing and Betfair's API to request data. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that they comply with every third party's terms of service.
