Find local NYC real estate right from Google Glass RoomlyNYC is a complete local NYC listings site for helping seekers and listers fill their local rooms/shares. Seekers can message listers, add favorites, view market stats (calculated on the fly), demographics, room recommendations, businesses and more all from within the App. The App scrapes the web for listings with an automated script and aggregates data from Zillow, Google maps/charts, Yelp and Instagram. Includes authentication via Facebook and Basic Auth, as well as Authorization. Sellers can create and manage listings/images. All images are processed using rmagick/paperclip and are stored on an AWS3 file storage environment.
