Next step: <p>A buyer can develop SiteShield from a working security-checking MVP into a focused monitoring product for website owners, developers and digital agencies.</p><p>The strongest next step is customer validation: recruit a small group of agencies or website owners, identify which findings they act on, and test willingness to pay for ongoing monitoring.</p><p>Potential development paths include:</p><p>• Recurring subscriptions: Add customer accounts, billing, scheduled checks, report history and alerts for certificate expiry or configuration changes.</p><p>• Agency plans: Build multi-site dashboards, client workspaces and branded reports for agencies managing multiple websites.</p><p>• API monetization: Extend the existing JSON API with per-customer authentication, usage metering and paid plans, then explore distribution through API marketplaces.</p><p>• Browser extension: Reuse the existing backend to let users request a report for the website they are viewing.</p><p>• Deeper reporting: Improve SPF/DMARC validation, add configuration-change tracking and refine prioritisation based on customer feedback.</p><p>• Distribution partnerships: Explore integrations with hosting providers, web-development agencies and website-maintenance services.</p><p>The modular backend, documented API, automated tests and deployment files provide a foundation for this work. These are future development opportunities; subscriptions, monitoring, agency dashboards and marketplace integrations are not currently implemented, and their revenue potential remains unvalidated.</p>
