Project and procurement management in one self-contained platform.

VERTEX is a project and procurement management platform I built to bring day-to-day procurement and project controls into one system. It covers procurement workflows from PR and RFQ through PO, GRN, invoice and finance approval, along with supplier management, contracts, commercial claims, project controls, budgets, analytics and audit trails. The application is designed to run as a self-contained deployment using Node.js, React, TypeScript and SQLite, without requiring a separate database or message queue. It also includes a modular licensing system with different editions and add-on modules, usage metering, RBAC, tenant controls and license lifecycle management. The live demo uses fictional USA and India project/procurement data. The pricing shown in the demo is also showcase pricing rather than actual customer pricing. The project is currently being presented as a product showcase and is available to explore through the live demo.

Next step: The biggest opportunity is commercialization.A buyer could take the existing platform and focus on a specific market such as construction, EPC, manufacturing or enterprise procurement. The existing procurement workflows, project controls, supplier management, licensing framework and commercial controls provide a foundation for further specialization.Potential next steps include onboarding real customers, integrating ERP systems, adding payment and billing infrastructure, completing the remaining licensing roadmap, improving the onboarding experience and building sales and implementation channels.The product could also be developed as a self-hosted enterprise product or a managed SaaS offering.

I have built VERTEX as a substantial product and technical showcase, but I am interested in seeing it taken further by someone who can dedicate the time to commercialization, customer acquisition and ongoing product development. The core product and architecture are already in place, so the next stage is primarily about turning it into a commercial business.
