Who they are looking for

<p>I am looking for a committed co-founder or strategic collaborator to help build and grow Agrovanta, a Nigerian agricultural marketplace currently in development.</p><p>Agrovanta is being built to connect farmers and agricultural producers with buyers, while also helping coordinate transportation from the supplier's location to the buyer's destination. The platform is designed to support different participants in the agricultural value chain, including producers, buyers, transporters and veterinary professionals.</p><p>The technology is already under active development, including the Flutter mobile application, NestJS backend, PostgreSQL database, marketplace workflows, buyer requests, produce listings, transport requests and transporter offers.</p><p>I am the founder and technical lead and have been responsible for building the product and defining the business and technical direction.</p><p>I am particularly looking for someone with strong experience in one or more of the following areas:</p><p>• Agricultural business and farmer networks</p><p>• Business development and partnerships</p><p>• Marketplace operations</p><p>• Customer acquisition and sales</p><p>• Agricultural supply chains and logistics</p><p>• Relationships with farmers, cooperatives, agribusinesses or large produce buyers</p><p>• Fundraising or startup growth</p><p>The ideal co-founder should bring meaningful capabilities, relationships, execution ability or resources that complement the technical side of the project.</p><p>The initial arrangement would be remote-friendly, with regular communication and active involvement in building the business. This is intended to be a genuine long-term co-founder relationship rather than a short-term freelance role.</p><p>Agrovanta is currently pre-launch, so there is an opportunity for the right person to join at an early stage and help shape the commercial strategy, go-to-market approach, partnerships and growth of the platform.</p><p>I am open to discussing equity based on the person's experience, level of commitment, responsibilities and contribution. The exact ownership structure would be agreed mutually after getting to know each other and establishing a clear working relationship.</p><p>I am particularly interested in someone who understands the Nigerian agricultural market and can help turn the technology into a functioning marketplace with real farmers, buyers and logistics partners.</p>
