CuisineOrder.com - Sell Project

This is an online ordering system for restaurants that includes a full end-to-end turn-key solution for restaurants and cafes ("vendors") to accept online orders. After loading a new vendor into the system, a GSM ticket printer is supplied and orders are sent directly to the printer in the kitchen. Features for vendors: Rich menu builder. Statistics (top ordered dishes, top favourited etc.) Ordering facility can be fully managed by them, they can set their opening hours, days on which they are closed, manually enable or disable the ordering facility, look at past orders etc. Input backup numbers so that if delivery fails to the printer the system will automatically try the backup numbers in priority order. Modifier support, so vendors can input things like a Heat modifier for curry dishes for example, and set the display values as well as a shortened value which will be printed on the ticket. Features for customers: Use one account to log into any "powered by CuisineOrder.com" site. Save favourite dishes. Quickly load past orders. Pay online via credit card or pay on collection. E-mail confirmation of orders. The system was designed so that either if restaurants have an existing site but want an online order page added, or don't have a site at all the system can accommodate them. There is a sample site vinnyssandwiches.com which is a fictitious cafe that shows an example of what can be provided for a full site. Additional templates can be added into the system with the idea that vendors can easily select a new theme. I built the system with the intention of selling the service to restaurants in New Zealand but unfortunately since I started the competition has adjusted their products to be too similar to mine, to the point where I can't compete with my minimal funds available so I decided to sell the system. Someone could potentially pick this up and start selling it as a service basically as-is. There is no billing built in at the moment but there is already a commission field on vendors so it should be easy enough to add a billing task that will run on a regular basis to generate invoices etc.
