No drama, just focus. I run a web design studio with signed clients and a paid CRM automation build in progress, both of which pay real money. SnipDish is the only project on my board with no customer attached to it. I built it, shipped it, and then never gave it the marketing it needed, because the work that pays kept winning the calendar. Rather than let it sit for another year running quietly at $6 a month, I would rather hand it to someone who can make it their main thing. The product works. That part is done. What it needs is distribution, and that is a different skill from the one that built it.

Recipe SEO is one of the most brutal niches online, and I would not fight AllRecipes and NYT Cooking for keywords. But Cook Mode demos extremely well on short vertical video. The "six paragraphs about someone's trip to Tuscany versus this clean card" comparison is a 15 second clip that writes itself, and food content on TikTok and Reels does not need domain authority to reach people.Charge from day one. Billing is fully built and has never been switched on. Running costs are about $6 a month, so break-even is roughly two Pro subscribers. There is no pricing experiment to run first, just an audience to find.Point the engine at a different vertical. This is the one I would explore hardest. The extraction pipeline is not really about recipes, it takes a hostile, ad-choked page and returns clean structured content. Aim it at product manuals, legal documents, academic papers, or any vertical with less competition than food, and the same codebase becomes a different product with a fraction of the noise.Smaller wins available quickly: the Android app is built and signed but never launched, so publishing it is a same-week task. Affiliate revenue on kitchen equipment is a natural fit and is not implemented. And the 125 blog posts, while unindexed today, are a real content base for anyone who knows how to build backlinks.</p>
