About Evidence Board - Visual Investigation Tool
An investigation board your own Claude, ChatGPT or Grok builds and reviews.
Evidence Board is a live web app at evidence.mtgtechnical.com for private investigators, journalists, solicitors and workplace investigators. A case's files go on an infinite board (photos, PDFs, Word documents, emails, spreadsheets, chat exports and notes), joined by typed string: supports, contradicts, same person, references. The AI is the user's own. Evidence Board is a remote MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Grok (OAuth 2.1 sign-in, over 40 tools). The assistant reads the files, builds the board (items, people, links, events, maps, zones), researches leads on the web with each source saved, reviews the case and saves its findings to the board, citing each item. The board can also be drawn inside the chat. The app itself makes no AI calls, so AI costs the operator nothing. The ChatGPT app was submitted to OpenAI's directory on 12 October 2026 and is in review. The board works like a physical one: coloured zones, pins on photos, clippings, a timeline string, and map cards drawn from self-hosted OpenStreetMap tiles (no third-party map service). Walkthroughs play a case stop by stop, and a recorder turns one into vertical or landscape video. Also built: table and chronology views, read-only share links, case members (viewer or editor) with confidential items kept from viewers, live updates while others edit, team cases, public boards in categories (four live: the Mary Celeste, Jack the Ripper, D. B. Cooper and Amelia Earhart), account export and deletion, and a phone view. Plans, live in Stripe: Free (3 cases, 250 MB), Pro at £9 a month or £90 a year (unlimited cases, 10 GB) and Team at £12 a seat a month (from 2 seats, 10 GB a seat). Stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Supabase (Postgres with row-level security, Auth with an OAuth 2.1 server, private Storage, Realtime), React Flow, MapLibre, Stripe, Vercel, Sentry and Cloudflare R2 (map tiles and nightly encrypted backups). Over 300 automated API, connector and browser checks.

Next step: <p>The product is built; what's next is customers. Outreach to investigators (a LinkedIn kit is ready), short videos of the public boards' walkthroughs (the recorder is built), directory listings including ChatGPT's (in review), and more public boards as a way in from search. Team plans for PI firms and newsrooms are already live.</p>

Not included: the domain (evidence.mtgtechnical.com is a subdomain of the seller's business domain), user data, or the seller's Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, Sentry and OpenAI accounts (the ChatGPT directory submission sits under the seller's OpenAI account). The buyer sets up their own.
Reason for selling
It's live and I'm now focused on growing it (paying customers and a following), but I'm open to selling at this price to someone well placed to take it further.
