About this business:
An automated online software business with minimal upkeep and no marketing costs in the gaming industry. Game makers buy our products because of the immense timesaving. Collectively, our kits save customers hours of development work. I've setup the business myself. It runs indefinitely on its own with automated sales through the website and third-party partner channels, order processing, and product delivery. See videos below for backend preview.

Attributes unique to this business:
Absolutely no money has been spent on marketing.
Each sale of the products on our website, apart from 4% processing fees, is 96% profit
Example Android app built with the game source code downloaded over 100,000 times and included as part of the business sale with advertising revenue (Unity Ads)
Which provider is the site hosted with?
Knownhost, based in USA. Fully-managed hosting package VPS-1. I moved all my sites to the same VPS because Knownhost support willingly helps with any problem within minutes of sending them a message, and the free transfer they offer. Overall, a great experience and a sustainable and secure web host.
What platform is the website built on?
HTML front-end. Wordpress for support website. For customer management, there's a PHP backend that does customer tracking, statistics, logging, and management. The business is fully-automated. The product we sell is built in Unity with C#.

What payment processor does the business use?
PayPal for our website. Our third-party marketplace accounts also pay via Paypal.
Can all merchant/payment processors accounts be handed to a new owner?
Yes.
What programming language(s) are the product(s) built on?
Unity Game Engine, with C# scripting. Unity has been growing in popularity as the premier game engine and continually expands with new consoles such as Xbox, iOS, Android, desktop, and more. It's a future-proofed platform to base the products on - and sustainable in the long-run. See the full list here: https://unity3d.com/unity/multiplatform
For the products, maintaining updates would be necessary if you wish to improve the product or make it compatible with newer versions of Unity. Original developer contacts provided.
When was the latest iteration of each product and how often do they need updating?
The kits were last updated in 2016, when I made the website. The game kits continue to work in the version of Unity they were made with at the time and developers continue to use and download this version from the Unity website.
If however you would like to make the business better than I have, regular updates would be pleasing for developers (though not necessary as developers regularly use older versions of Unity too)
What products are included?
The Horror Game Kit packages (Starter, Pro, and Complete) plus all items available for sale on the Unity Asset Store account. Also, back in 2016, I started working on a VR game customization but as I manage multiple businesses I have not yet had enough time to dedicate to this successfully so the unfinished source code is given as a bonus to purchasers. This is mentioned on the site.
Why not launch the new programs and stick with the business?
I enjoy building companies until they're automated and then working on the next idea. If I were not able to sell now, I would continue with building the horror game kits and return to my work on other businesses for the remainder of the year apart from any new growth ideas.
How much time do you devote to this business per month? What tasks do you do?
The project is fully automated since 2016. After paying the developers to create the templates and support, I setup the site and sell the templates as they were made with the documentation the developer produced. Sales are processed through our website or through the 3rd-party store for game developers called the Unity Asset Store (account included with the business sale)
What third-party marketplace accounts are included?
There are four other ways we sell our products, though the Unity Asset Store is the biggest one. Other accounts include Game Gorillaz, Sell My App, and Chupamobile. These accounts are included with the business sale.

What is unique about your business?
Unlike other business owners, I've setup this business by myself without experience in the industry, entirely void of any marketing costs, and maximize the profit on each sale. (Apart from the processing fees, each sale is 96% profit) As a serial web entrepreneur, all of my businesses are designed to be completely automated and outsourced so I can spend my time on new projects. This particular business revolves around a product that has time savings value for game developers. The majority of our purchases are for the highest level package we offer called the Complete Kit.
Why are you selling the business?
I'm a serial entrepreneur. I manage and develop startups to answer needs, improve them if they show potential and automate the day-to-day before moving onto the next idea. HorrorGameMaker.com is a company in my portfolio with proven revenue and potential for horizontal and vertical growth. Though I have a number of successful projects, I generally try to automate or sell them at some point in time in order to make room for new projects. I enjoy the process of identifying new opportunities and working on them until a point in which the revenue can be automated.
If you were not selling, how would you grow the business over the next five years? Please include 3-5 growth opportunities to help buyers get an understanding of your business' growth potential.
Short-term: Test conversion ideas. For example, I updated the website with automated 30% flash sales every week.
Medium-term: Test longer ideas, such as price points and sale discount percentages over the next year to optimize revenue per sale. Experimenting with higher and lower price points or marketing.
Long-term expansion: Developer partnerships. Outsource the development of new game kits based on game genres and future top-grossing products. For example, the VR industry has started to expand in 2016, giving room for VR oriented games. I paid for modification of the game for VR kits but this is an incomplete work that still needs to be tested so as of now this material which you could sell as a separate product is given away as free bonus.
Are there any new products/services you would add to the existing product in the next 12 months? Are there any particular features customers have been requesting that have yet to be added?
Build Custom Games: long-term potential for expanding the business through partnerships with game studios. As I work on more than one business, I personally prefer selling software rather than manage clients and services. It's easier to automate a software business so I have not done this yet.
Who does the technical support for this (and other) part(s) of the business?
We rarely receive messages. Technical support is handled by the automated Wordpress support website with tutorials and answers I posted. Otherwise for the few messages you may receive, if you can't answer them you can forward them to the developer and pay him to provide a more detailed response.
Is this documented?
Yes, see https://www.horrorgamemaker.com/documentation/
What kind of SEO effort is required to keep the site ranked? If none, what drives the ranking?
None. The ranking is driven through the primary sales page, natural traction and links built towards our website or the Asset Store listing and customer interest.
What other advertising or marketing is involved with this business? Do you run PPC?
None. It's automatically marketed in the third-party marketplaces.
Do you have any social media accounts associated with this business?
No.
How do you market with past / non-purchasing clients (mailing list, etc.)?
All client data from our paypal purchases is are stored in the website SaaS admin tool. For third-party marketplaces, we don't get the customer data. I have not used customer data yet for marketing.
Do you have an affiliate program? If so, how much does this contribute to gross revenue (as a percentage)?
Yes. This was added to the site as an affiliate script. Although I haven't actively marketed it.
Is this a recurring or one-time payment product?
One-Time.
What currency does your business operate in?
USD.
Do you think your main source of traffic is sustainable?
Yes, because:
The mobile game industry is growing.
We supply a tool for developers to build their games quicker.
More developers = more potential prospects.
