Detailed Description

I bought SpeedyWaiver a few years ago, weeks before COVID hit. It is a well-built piece of software to create waivers, and has paddle, trials, and all other functionality built-in.

I purchased it as I like to buy well-built products from developers, expand the sales and marketing, and then grow them to a routine easy-to-manage project. However, during the same time, I became cofounder of a startup that has now consumed all of my spare time.

I have not been able to focus on it, but passively get a few customers per month through the trial process. It is a pretty straight forward piece of software.

  1. Users can create trials.
  2. Users can create forms (high customization), share them directly, or add the link to their site.
  3. Visitors to that link can fill out the form, and e-sign. The correct information is collected and stored for usage.

From a competitive landscape, there are companies with built-in waiver software inside their scheduling software; and those that are less regular (and therefore better). The ideal usage and application would be environments were scheduling is not public.

Examples are: student classes, church events, guides, summer camps, volunteer positions, etc.

The technology also allows any type of form, so it does not need to be limited to waivers. Examples are: school lunches, NDAs, visitor sign-ins, etc. It is worth noting that long-term storage of waivers and other such e-signed documents create a near-0-churn-environment, as users which to keep their documents accessible and legally must keep them so.
