CheddarPi is a custom OS running on a generic mini-computer which acts as a basis point for proxy endpoints.


Background

Proxy providers (Brightdata, Oxylabs, etc) acquire the IPs and bandwidth from their own services or by purchasing from a middle-man. Many of these have applications that you can run on your own computer. These services pay out between $5-27USD per month, depending on location.


The Business

The business idea is vetted and post MVP. There are about 20 CheddarPis active in the US and Canada today. The target market is AirBnB, Cottages, and passive income hobbyists; who like the idea of extra revenue generation passively with a resource they already own.


There are multiple models:
