trendendo™ - Showcase Project

trendendo™ is the worldwide hub for crowdsourced rankings: a place where you can vote on the things you love, view the rankings you care about, and track the trends important to you. It's Life. Ranked. Imagine one place where you have access to a ranked list of anything and everything in the world. What if we didn't need to waste time googling the funniest romantic comedy, most important invention ever, or best ski resort in Colorado? trendendo™ is a streamlined platform for our data obsessed society. A platform whose rankings can be voted on by millions of people. No reviews, no comments, and no hassle. Our unique voting system forms ranking with minimal input from each user. Each user click gives us at least 4 data points. On average, it takes only 10 users with 5 clicks each to ensure an accurate ranking. Once these are formed, we supply stock-like, graphical, data to the users. It's easy to see how a listing has trended over 30 days, 60 days, 6 months, etc. Imagine a topic: "Most Important Political Issue in the US". Now imagine 1000 users voting on this listing. Not only do we get an accurate idea of how, say, global warming compares to gay rights, we also can see how this trend plays out as time progresses. trendendo™ ranks the trends important in our world, but eventually it will go beyond that: trendendo™ will create the trends. trendendo™ will have three modes of income: selling data, sponsored competitions, and membership opportunities. We are set to launch in three major cities: Chicago, Columbus, and Denver. Users not located in one of our cities still have the ability to track global trends. We currently have a private beta out right now and plan on going live April 2nd, 2016.
