Gift Registry is a Facebook app which lets people build a gift registry(wedding, baby shower, birthday, etc) that is independent from any stores or websites registries. The app works on desktop, integrated within Facebook and on mobile.From a Registry creator's point of view, they can create a list with a name, description and icon image. Then add items to the list with a name, link to image, link to product, average price and requested quantity. Once this list is complete, the creator can invite any of their Facebook friends easily in.Any of these invited Facebook friends can view the list and if they wish to say they purchased something or will, they can click the gift in the list and this will let others know not to buy said gift. Also, there is a section at the bottom for people to write in gifts they have bought anonymously, to make sure no one else buys any unlisted gifts multiple times.What's Included?All the code and database, as well as IP for the project. As well as free hosting for the App or free setup on your own server, plus housing into your Facebook page. If you can cut me for a tiny percent of any profits this make, that would be nice too but not necessary. I'll also fix up the styling/design from a code perspective if some new designs are made.What does it need to be successful?A redesign of how everything looks and is worded(needs graphics design work), in App advertisement (get some big brands on board) and marketing. That is what it needs to be turned into a profit gathering project. The data collected from users using the App can also be sold to various brands. It only takes a few lists built by users to drag in a lot of their friends to get the ball rolling.Why am I selling it?I enjoy working on Web Development projects, but I'm not a marketer or a web designer and that is the 2 elements this project really needs.
