About Peddler
Peddler is a simple way to browse local items for sale
Why Peddler sucks: The founder could never decide if this was a competitor to Etsy, to Craigslist Classifieds, or to Product Hunt. So it does everything. Someone needs to figure out what market to chase after. I am a developer. I don't know how market anything. So it only had about 100 users at it's peak and now it has essentially none. There isn't a monotization model built in yet. Things that are really awesome about Peddler: It is built on python/django and native objective C. Which is an awesome stack. The app is done, it works all the way, assuming you like the design and flow. It has a ton of potential to make money in all sorts of ways. I have spent 2 years and probably 1000 hours on this project, and I am hoping to get $5k for this thing.
