About WhimKid
AI storybook generator for editable kids' picture books
WhimKid turns a story idea, a photo, or a familiar character into an illustrated children's picture book. Choose one of five age bands from 0–3 to 9–12. Save up to six reference characters, pick an art style (crayon doodle, pastel chalk, paper collage, ink wash, anime), edit every page, add narration and music, then share privately or export PDF/images/audio/video. New accounts get 100 free credits; paid plans from $9.9/month. Not affiliated with the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series.
