About chess.net

Browser-based chess game with source code and room to grow.

Chess.net is an early-stage browser-based chess game project with a live demo and source code maintained in GitLab. It offers a starting point for a new owner to review the existing implementation, improve gameplay and mobile usability, and explore additional features such as online multiplayer and chess-learning tools. These are potential development opportunities and are not claims that every feature is complete. The project currently has no established revenue or verified user base. The sale can include the available source code, project files, and agreed handover assistance. Hosting, third-party accounts, and any custom domain are subject to ownership and transferability.

Next step: <p>A new owner can build on the existing Chess.net project by improving the user interface, refining gameplay, and expanding the platform with additional chess features. Potential opportunities include online multiplayer, playing against AI, interactive chess lessons, player profiles, rankings, and progress tracking, depending on the current implementation. The buyer could also improve mobile usability, promote the website to chess communities, and explore appropriate monetization options after building an audience. These are potential growth opportunities, not a claim that all features are already complete.</p>
