About Developer Tools
Free developer tools that run in your browser
Developer Tools is a free collection of small, fast utilities for everyday development work, and every one of them runs locally in the browser. Text, files and other inputs never leave the page, so it is safe to paste tokens, logs or private data while debugging. Features: Base64 encode and decode for text and files, including URL-safe Base64 and data URLs. A number base converter for any base from 2 to 36. URL encoding and decoding. A JSON formatter that can also minify and validate. MD5 and SHA hashes of text or files. UUID v4 and v7 generation. A JWT decoder that shows the header, the payload and readable dates. A Unix timestamp converter. HTML entity encoding and decoding. A case converter for camelCase, snakecase, kebab-case and more. A JavaScript regex tester with live match highlighting. Use cases: checking what is inside a JWT during an auth bug, turning a minified API response into readable JSON, generating test IDs, comparing file hashes after a download, converting log timestamps, or trying out a regular expression before putting it in code. Benefits: there is nothing to install and no account to create. Pages load quickly and work the same on any modern browser. Pressing the slash key opens search, so any tool is a few keystrokes away. Because processing happens on the device, results are instant and nothing is uploaded to a server. The tools are free and released under the MIT license.
