About wasmga.me
Retro, Flash and open-source games in your browser
wasmga.me is a free games site built on WebAssembly. Every game plays right in the browser page, with no plug-ins, no downloads and no installers, on desktop and on many phones and tablets. Features: the catalog mixes open-source PC games ported to the browser, such as SuperTuxKart, Mindustry, Warzone 2100, Taisei and Neverball. It has homebrew for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, NES, Game Boy Advance, Master System and Arduboy, Flash games played through Ruffle, and small originals like Snake, Sudoku, 2048 and Sourdough Solitaire. Every game page has full screen, a lights off mode and mute. Each page explains plainly how saving works and lists every file the game loads. Signing in is optional and syncs saves and scores between devices. The site is available in nine languages. Use cases: a quick puzzle during a break, a full racing or strategy game without installing anything, rediscovering classic-style console homebrew, playing old Flash games again, or showing what WebAssembly can do in a browser today. Benefits: games start in seconds and run at near native speed thanks to WebAssembly. Only free and properly licensed games are hosted, and open-source ports credit their original projects. Commercial games that need their own data files ask players to supply those files themselves. Everything is free to play, supported by ads.
