Parallax: multi-source news publishing system - Sell Project

Parallax is a complete system for running a multi-source news site. It reads feeds from news outlets, groups reports of the same event, writes one neutral story from them, checks the story against its sources, and publishes it to WordPress with a photo, a source list and share cards. It is running live at parallax.news. WHAT IS INCLUDED WordPress theme and companion plugin, custom built with no page builder: schema markup, news sitemap, source comparison blocks, consent notice, analytics hooks and ad slots. Python pipeline: feed discovery, clustering by meaning, story writing with a local language model (Ollama), fact checks, publishing, photo sourcing and image card rendering. Facebook posting module with a queue, rate limits and expiry. Bring your own Page and token. Operations: nightly off-server backups, health checks, a privacy-friendly traffic counter, hardening and deployment scripts. A written project brief and documentation. RULES BUILT IN Two independent outlets per story, with a clearly labelled single-source mode for features. Figures and names checked against the sources. No copying of source wording. Sensitive subjects held for editorial review. Every story names and links its sources. WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING The stories are written by software from other outlets' reporting. This is the product, so it is stated plainly. Early stage: the site has been live for about a month, with little traffic and no revenue. It runs on a Mac or Linux machine that can host a 9B-parameter local model (roughly 7 GB of memory), or it can be pointed at a paid API with some code changes, plus a small VPS for WordPress.
