Read what a song feels like, plus 30+ tools for musicians
We're Stephan and Tim, the cofounders of SongTools. It started with one question: how do you share what a song feels like with someone who can't hear it? So we built a way for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to read a song: the emotion, the story and the shape of it, in words and pictures, with no listening required. Deaf and Hard of Hearing listeners and music makers get free access through our access program. Then producers and songwriters started using it on their own tracks, so it grew into 30+ tools built around your song. Upload a track and get an honest A&R style critique of the mix, arrangement, vocals and hook, written in plain language you can act on. What you get: song feedback and critique; read how a song feels; MIDI generator; sheet music from audio; key and BPM finder; stem separator; lyric writer and lyric copyright check; and a song page that keeps every result for each track together. Related tools include LANDR, iZotope and Moises for mixing, mastering and stems. SongTools puts feedback first and works for listeners who can't hear the music too. Free credits on sign up.
