Steve Johnson is a hands-on CTO with over 12 years in software architecture and compliance automation. Before joining Archiet, he was the Lead Platform Architect at Tramatch, where he scaled their AI-matching engine to handle 5 million daily requests while achieving SOC2 Type II certification in under 6 months. That experience showed him how painfully slow traditional compliance and architecture documentation can be. At Archiet, Steve leads the development of an AI that generates scored architecture blueprints, maps to 7 compliance frameworks, and scaffolds production-ready code – all from a plain English prompt. He’s passionate about helping startups “build audit-ready from day one.” Outside work, he contributes to open-source ArchiMate tools and speaks at events like DevOps Days.
