HyveMind: E-voting blockchain
What if you could eliminate voter fraud while opening up voting for everyone, from anywhere via a smartphone?
HyveMind is a crypto-system that combines cryptographically-secured protocols and real-world systems to allow for secure remote e-voting. Hyvemind is capable of much more than facilitating smartphone voting; it provides a framework to completely re-imagine how a representative democracy can work in the 21st century. Many existing problems in current day democratic systems such as malevolent lobbying, unaccountable money in elections, and unresponsiveness to the desires of constituencies can be completely eliminated using HyveMind.
Read the white page (on the project homepage) to get a good understanding of exactly what is being proposed. None of the system requires pie-in-the-sky technology. The paper's author took great pains to devise a system that could be constructed and used today, using everyday technology and devices.
Many projects and products claim to be able to change the world. HyveMind is actually capable of doing so. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of building, please reach out and let's talk.
THIS PROJECT IS BUILT USING

There are two tracks of collaboration: hardware design and software engineering (blockchain and mobile application development). This project is vast and will utilize several different programming languages as well as hardware design. A knowledge of blockchain technology is helpful but not required for certain parts of the project such as the hardware design.

SEEKING CO-FOUNDER/COLLABORATOR
For software-focused co-founders, a formal computer science training is preferred as development of this project will require study and efficient implementation of complex algorithms.
Hardware-focused co-founders should have experience developing custom embedded hardware. Our hardware will be implementing complex algorithms so a working knowledge of a C-like programming language is preferred.
