About Typical - iOS sales app with custom keyboard
iOS app and custom keyboard that surfaces client context while you type.
WHAT IT IS Typical is a production ready iOS app plus a custom keyboard extension, built for people who sell high value items where the client relationship is the product: real estate, yachts, watches, cars, luxury goods. The app holds clients, assets, promises and conversation history. The keyboard surfaces the right context inside WhatsApp or any other app, at the moment the seller is typing a reply. No CRM to open, no tab switching. STATUS, HONESTLY The product is built and tested, and runs on TestFlight with external testing approved by Apple. It has no users and no revenue. I am selling because I moved into a demanding full time role and I do not have the bandwidth to take it to market. WHAT IS INCLUDED Source code Native iOS app in Swift and SwiftUI Custom keyboard extension running within iOS memory limits, fed by a read only App Group cache Firebase backend with 12 deployed cloud functions AI layer with around 30 capabilities, built as a thin router plus isolated specialist prompts Per request cost tracking and a quota system wired into the AI layer Approvals already granted, each of which takes weeks Apple TestFlight external testing approved Google OAuth verification granted for gmail.send Brand and assets typical.so domain Google Workspace email on the domain Complete design system, brand and landing page App icon, splash screen, marketing assets Documentation Prompt registry with every prompt versioned, scoped and documented Evaluation harness Architecture and QA documentation 93 unit tests and 33 emulator tests passing MONETIZATION, READY TO SWITCH ON Nothing is charged yet, but the groundwork is in place. The fastest path to first revenue is external payments through Stripe, which avoids the Apple commission entirely and lets the owner handle pricing and refunds directly. In app purchase through StoreKit is the route for scale later, once there is volume to justify it. Cost control is already instrumented. The AI layer is connected to OpenAI with per request cost tracking and quotas, so the owner can see what each capability costs and cap usage per user. Margin is visible from day one instead of being discovered after launch. ON THE APPLE SIDE The app has not been submitted for App Store release yet. That is a decision I did not get to, not a rejection. The TestFlight external review, which is the one that gates distribution to real testers, is already approved. One practical consequence: because there is no released version, Apple does not allow transferring the app record itself. The buyer creates their own app record in their developer account. With no users or reviews to preserve, this costs nothing. WHY THIS IS WORTH MORE THAN THE CODE The Google OAuth verification for gmail.send took several weeks of review to obtain. A custom keyboard extension that works reliably inside Apple memory limits is the hardest part of building this kind of product, and it is solved. A buyer skips roughly five to six months of work and starts with something that can go in front of users immediately. WHO THIS IS FOR A CRM or sales platform that wants a mobile and keyboard layer Anyone building an AI product that lives inside messaging on iOS and wants a working keyboard extension plus a verified Gmail integration as a starting point A founder in luxury real estate, yachts or high ticket sales who wants a finished product instead of a six month build HANDOVER Full repository, Firebase project, Google Cloud project including the OAuth verification, domain, Google Workspace account and all design assets. I am available for a reasonable handover period to walk the buyer through the architecture. Open to offers and to questions. Happy to do a live walkthrough.
Next step: <p>The obvious first move is to launch it. The product is built and approved for TestFlight external testing, so a buyer with an existing audience of agents, brokers or dealers can put it in front of users in days rather than months.</p><p><br></p><p>Three directions I would take it:</p><p><br></p><p>Vertical depth. The app is built around clients, assets and the match between them. It is configured for real estate, but the same model fits yachts, watches, classic cars, art and any market where the deal is large and the relationship is the product. Swapping the vertical is configuration, not a rewrite.</p><p><br></p><p>Distribution through an existing platform. A CRM, brokerage or sales platform that already has users can bolt this on as their mobile and keyboard layer, which is the part most of them do not have and would take months to build.</p><p><br></p><p>Lower cost per user. The AI layer runs on OpenAI today, with cost tracking and quotas already in place. Moving part of the load to Apple on-device models would cut the variable cost significantly, and the architecture is already isolated enough to swap providers per capability rather than all at once.</p><p><br></p><p>The hardest engineering is done. A custom keyboard extension that works reliably inside the iOS memory limit, and a verified Gmail integration, are the two things that take the longest and are already solved.</p>

What's included
Domain name, Source code, All related data, All related design work, Email account
Firebase project with the full backend and 12 deployed cloud functions. Google Cloud project including the OAuth verification already granted for gmail.send. This took several weeks of Google review to obtain and transfers with the project. Google Workspace account on the typical.so domain, so the buyer inherits a working professional email setup rather than starting from scratch. Full documentation: prompt registry with every prompt versioned and scoped, evaluation harness, architecture notes, QA documentation, and the test suite (93 unit tests and 33 emulator tests passing). Landing page and all marketing assets. A reasonable handover period with me, to walk through the architecture and the AI layer. One note on the Apple side: the app runs on TestFlight with external testing approved, but it was never released to the App Store, so Apple does not allow transferring the app record itself. The buyer creates their own app record in their developer account. With no users or reviews to preserve, this costs nothing in practice.
Reason for selling
Lack of time, not lack of belief in the product. I built this on nights and weekends while working full time, and I have since moved into a demanding leadership role that does not leave room to take it to market properly. The product deserves someone who can give it the attention it needs, and I would rather hand it to that person than let it sit.
