About Eigakan Guide
Find cinema showtimes across Japan, including through ChatGPT
I live in Tokyo and love going to the movies, but checking several cinema websites to find something that fits my schedule was frustrating, so I built Eigakan Guide. You can search cinema showtimes across Japan by area, cinema, date, time and features such as IMAX or Dolby Cinema. There are also filters for English audio and English subtitles, a cinema map and saved searches. The site is available in Japanese and English. I recently published a ChatGPT plugin. It searches the same showtime database and displays results in movie cards with links to the listings. The site is free, with no ads, affiliate links or paid features. Booking takes place on the cinemas' official websites. I'd love feedback, especially from people who go to the movies in Japan.
