The Last Website (thelastwebsite.world) is a permanent place on the internet: a realistic 3D globe of Earth split into 1,000,000 spots. Anyone can claim a spot, leave their name and a short message, and it stays there for good. There's no feed, no algorithm and no followers, just a quiet, lasting mark on the world. How it makes money Free spots help it spread, and premium spots and extras bring in the money: First spot free, each extra spot $3 About 21,700 special numbers ($9 to $2,500): #1, #777, birth years, palindromes, repeating digits 307 famous places ($99 to $1,999): the Eiffel Tower, Everest, the Great Pyramid, every capital city Add-ons: time capsules (the message is sealed for up to 50 years), gifts (with a printable QR card), or both, at $9 to $15 Promo codes are built in The product An interactive 3D Earth with NASA day and night imagery, clouds and a live day/night line All spots are on land and sized by population, and each is named after its nearest town (170,000 place names) Place search using real OpenStreetMap outlines Hearts, a daily "message of the day", and a shareable page for each spot with social preview images An admin dashboard covering moderation, payments, promo codes and analytics An automated n8n + Remotion pipeline that makes social videos from featured messages Tech Next.js and react-three-fiber, Java 21 with Spring Boot 3, PostgreSQL, PayPal, Resend email, Sentry and GA4, all running in Docker Compose behind Caddy.
