About The Student Tip | Substack
Ready-made student content brand with a .com, website and Substack newsletter
The Student TipReady-made student content brand with a .com, website and Substack newsletter Asking price: $899 USD — open to reasonable offers About the Project The Student Tip is a ready-made student media and content brand focused on the practical side of student life: productivity, money, and mental well-being. I built the project from scratch, including the brand, website, newsletter, original articles, illustrations, and student resources. I'm now moving on to other projects and would rather sell the existing foundation to someone who wants to continue or repurpose it. The project is pre-revenue and still early-stage. This is best suited to a buyer who wants a head start on a student newsletter, content site, education brand, or student resource platform rather than starting from zero. What's Included The sale includes: TheStudentTip.com domain Complete WordPress.com website Existing Substack publication and published content 7 original long-form articles 9 published newsletter issues The Student Tip branding and visual identity Original illustrations and graphics owned by the seller Existing student-focused templates and digital resources Relevant project files associated with the brand In total, the project already has 16 published pieces of original content, along with the website, newsletter infrastructure, visual identity, and resources. The subscriber email addresses/personal data, my Stripe account, personal accounts, and unrelated files are not included. Traffic & Audience Current approximate monthly traffic: Substack: 400 visitors/month WordPress: 40 visitors/month Combined: 440 visitors/month Substack subscribers: 11 The subscriber count is provided for transparency, but subscriber email addresses and other subscriber personal data will not be transferred as part of the sale. Revenue Current revenue: $0 The project is pre-revenue and has not yet been monetized. There are no employees, contractors, customers, or paid subscriptions to manage. Time Required The project is currently inactive, so no ongoing work is required to maintain the existing content beyond normal website/domain administration. A buyer can choose their own publishing schedule or take the project in a different direction. Why I'm Selling I'm moving my attention to other projects and have decided not to continue actively developing The Student Tip. Rather than delete the work or leave it unused, I'd like to sell the project to someone interested in the student/education space. Opportunity for a Buyer The main value here is the head start. Instead of starting with an empty domain and building a brand, website, newsletter, content library, graphics, and resources from scratch, a buyer gets an existing foundation that can be taken over immediately. Possible directions include continuing it as a student newsletter/content publication, expanding the existing resource library, building a larger student media brand, or using the existing site and content as the starting point for another student-focused business. The project has not yet proven a monetization model, so I'm not selling it as an established business. I'm selling the domain, finished infrastructure, original content, brand, creative assets, and existing traffic to someone who sees value in developing it further. Asking price: $899 USD. Reasonable offers considered.

Next step:
The project is still early-stage, so there are several directions a buyer could take it. The most straightforward would be to continue publishing practical student content and grow the existing newsletter and website.

The existing digital resources could also be expanded into a larger student resource library with templates, planners, trackers, and other tools. Monetization could eventually come from sponsorships, affiliate partnerships, digital products, or a paid resource library.

Alternatively, the buyer could reposition the existing brand, domain, website, and content into a broader student platform or education-focused business.

Most of the initial setup is already done — the brand, .com domain, website, newsletter, content library, visual identity, graphics, and initial resources are in place. The main opportunity for a buyer is to take that foundation and focus on growth and monetization.
