About Know what AI costs, and what that money produced.
Open-source AI economics control plane for coding agents and LLM applications.

Next step: <p>BurnLens has several clear paths for further development and commercialization.</p><p>The strongest opportunity is to position it as the AI economics layer for engineering teams using coding agents and LLM applications. A buyer could focus specifically on Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other coding-agent workflows and provide engineering managers with cost by repository, agent, workflow and accepted engineering outcome.</p><p>Additional opportunities include:</p><ol><li data-list="bullet">Expand enterprise AI FinOps with team, project, customer and cost-center chargeback/showback.</li><li data-list="bullet">Build deeper integrations with LLM gateways, observability platforms and FinOps products.</li><li data-list="bullet">Expand coding-agent integrations and automatically calculate cost per merged pull request or other engineering outcomes.</li><li data-list="bullet">Develop stronger retry, tool-loop and inefficient-agent detection.</li><li data-list="bullet">Expand budget policies and pre-call spend controls to prevent runaway AI usage before costs occur.</li><li data-list="bullet">Develop model-routing recommendations based on task complexity, cost and historical outcome quality.</li><li data-list="bullet">Expand verified-savings functionality so teams can measure whether optimization recommendations actually reduce costs.</li><li data-list="bullet">Add enterprise governance capabilities including approvals, policy controls and auditability.</li><li data-list="bullet">Build integrations with GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD systems, cloud providers and engineering analytics platforms.</li><li data-list="bullet">Commercialize the hosted BurnLens Cloud service through team and enterprise subscription plans.</li><li data-list="bullet">Use the open-source CLI/project as a developer acquisition channel for the commercial SaaS product.</li></ol><p>A buyer with an existing audience in AI infrastructure, developer tooling, FinOps or observability could potentially commercialize BurnLens substantially faster than starting a comparable product from scratch.</p>
For sale
Asking price: $9,453 USD
What's included
Domain name, Source code, All related data, All related design work
In addition to the selected assets, the sale can include the BurnLens hosted SaaS product assets, official project/repository stewardship where transferable, PyPI/package release stewardship where transferable, deployment and infrastructure configuration, CI/CD assets, technical and product documentation, architecture documentation, product roadmap and research, marketing materials, analytics/commercial history where transferable, and a bounded transition/handover period. BurnLens has public Apache 2.0 releases, so existing open-source rights remain valid. The transaction is for the BurnLens project/business assets and seller-owned rights rather than revoking rights already granted under the open-source license.
Reason for selling
BurnLens has primarily been an engineering-led project, and significant effort has gone into building the product, AI economics engine, coding-agent integrations, hosted platform, controls and documentation. I am now consolidating my time and focus around other projects and cannot give BurnLens the dedicated go-to-market, sales and distribution effort it needs. Rather than leave a functioning product underutilized, I would prefer to transfer it to a buyer who already has distribution or expertise in AI infrastructure, FinOps, developer tooling, LLM observability or agent platforms and can take the product further.
