Research, identification, cataloguing and commerce software for valuable objects
RChive is a multi-layered research, identification, cataloguing, collection-management, and commerce-workflow platform for antiques, collectibles, jewelry, fine art, and other valuable objects. It brings object research, documentation, visual identification, source evidence, collection records, market research, selling workflows, and a built-in reference library for books, PDFs, notes, and other research material into one connected system. The platform already has the core architecture and technical foundations for its desktop, hosted, AI, API, research, and commerce layers. Capabilities can operate locally, through hosted services, or through either path depending on user needs, hardware, and budget. A mobile companion experience is also part of the roadmap. The software has gone through more than 100 versions across multiple development stages and is currently in beta. Existing work includes structured object records, maker and mark research, source tracking, evidence-backed research workflows, AI-assisted research and identification, marketplace integrations, local/hosted infrastructure, and a substantial body of object and industry research material. The product is pre-revenue and under active development with a clear roadmap. The reason for sale is limited founder time: taking it through commercialization and growth requires more time than I can realistically dedicate.
Next step:
Complete the remaining beta roadmap, launch paid local and hosted tiers, expand AI-assisted research and visual-identification capabilities, deepen marketplace and commerce integrations, finish the mobile companion experience, and commercialize the existing platform across hobbyists, collectors, dealers, appraisers, estate liquidators, auction houses, academics, museums, galleries, and other professional users. A buyer with an existing audience or distribution in these markets could accelerate adoption significantly.
