About MyPlacement

Placement accommodation SaaS built from lived insight, ready to scale globally.

This is a purpose‑built, multi‑tenant SaaS platform designed to solve a clear and underserved problem: safe, accessible and transparent accommodation for students completing mandatory placements. Built on Laravel with Filament, the system provides structured workflows, suitability checks and communication tools for universities and accommodation providers. The business model is a B2B subscription service. Because I’ve faced these placement accommodation challenges myself, both as a student and later supporting students as an academic, I was able to design a tool that genuinely fits the realities of the people who use it. Growth potential is strong: placement accommodation issues exist globally across higher‑education systems, and the platform can also expand into graduate markets where short‑term professional roles — including banking rotations, locum healthcare work and other temporary assignments — face similar housing and safety challenges. As a pre‑revenue product, it offers clean IP, a modern codebase and a defined niche ready for commercialisation.
