About USofA KBYG "Know Before You Go"
Travel app with maps, CB-style audio, SOS, reviews, messaging & source code
USofA KBYG (Know Before You Go) is a previously released cross-platform mobile application developed for truck drivers, RV travelers, road travelers, and other people who spend significant time traveling. The application combines GPS mapping and business discovery with a location-based, CB-radio-inspired audio communication system. Users could enable the radio, select a geographic communication radius, record voice messages using a tap-and-hold interaction, and exchange audio with nearby active users. Other implemented areas of the project include traveler-oriented business ratings and reviews, SOS location sharing, private messaging, push notifications, profiles and account management, subscription/trial infrastructure, and a web-based administrative system. The application previously reached release on both Apple iOS and Google Android. It is not currently listed in either app store and is being sold as an existing software and intellectual-property asset package for modernization, redevelopment, rebranding, integration, or relaunch. This is substantially more than an app concept or UI mockup. The package contains an existing Flutter mobile application, Node.js/Express backend, React administrative panel, MongoDB data architecture, technical documentation, original product specification, seller-owned branding/assets contained in the project, historical screenshots, and an approximately 60-second Full-HD promotional commercial. The mobile source contains implementation relating to mapping/location, audio recording and playback, adjustable communication radius, reviews, SOS, messaging, notifications, profiles, account controls, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and application maintenance/version controls. The backend contains API, authentication, geographic/radius, audio, messaging, notification, subscription, store/review, SOS, account and administrative functionality. A separate React-based administration interface is also included. No programming experience is required to acquire the project. An individual entrepreneur, investor, transportation/travel company, development agency, or software company can purchase the assets and hire any qualified mobile-app development company or independent developer they choose to continue the project. The buyer is not tied to the original developer. The application is not being represented as currently production-ready or ready for immediate app-store resubmission. A purchaser should expect a professional technical audit, dependency updates, new third-party/service accounts and credentials, current security/compliance review, infrastructure configuration, testing, and other modernization work before commercial relaunch. Historical screenshots show the application operating during its release period, including location-based audio exchanges, radius selection up to 60 miles, SOS location sharing and directions, notifications, account settings, maps, and trial/subscription interfaces. The seller is seeking a complete exit and intends to transfer the included project assets to one buyer. No equity, royalties, revenue share, management role, or ongoing ownership is being retained. The seller possesses executed documentation supporting assignment of the custom application's software/copyright interests. Appropriate ownership evidence can be addressed with a serious purchaser during the transaction process. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. Asking price: $21,500. Reasonable serious offers will be considered.
Project details
Next step: <p>The next owner can have any qualified mobile-app development company or independent developer of their choice take over the existing project.</p><p>The recommended first step is a current technical/build and security audit, followed by updating the Flutter/Dart, Node.js, React, and related dependencies. The buyer can then establish their own hosting, Firebase, mapping/API, payment/subscription, Apple/Google developer, and other required service accounts and credentials.</p><p>From there, the existing application can be modernized, redesigned, rebranded, expanded, integrated into another product, or prepared for relaunch on iOS and Android.</p><p>A nontechnical purchaser does not need to perform this work personally. They can provide the existing mobile source code, backend, admin panel, database architecture, technical documentation, and product specification to the development company of their choice as the starting point.</p>

Reason for selling
I have decided to exit the project completely due to an ongoing health concern and cannot invest additional time and capital into modernization and relaunch. I am looking for a purchaser who wants to take over the existing software foundation and continue developing, rebrand, integrate, or relaunch it. I intend to retain no equity, royalties, revenue share, management responsibility, or ongoing ownership after the sale.
