About Scout: rental-alert engine for German cities
Live flat-alert SaaS: 98 sign-ups in 14 days, 410 tests, one-command setup
Scout reads rental listings every 15 minutes, scores each one against a renter's search, alerts by email and Telegram, takes the renter straight to the landlord's form and writes the application. It has been live in Berlin and Tel Aviv since 16 September 2026. I am pricing it to sell fast. I am an investor, not an operator, and I would rather see the engine run by someone who works in rentals or relocation than keep it on a shelf. WHAT IT DID IN ITS FIRST 14 DAYS 98 profiles with an email address, 79 of them confirmed by code. 58 people active in the last week of September. 6,160 listings stored, 12,287 matches made, 1,422 mails sent. 194 EUR of Google ads in total; the two current search campaigns ran at an 8.55 percent click rate, about 0.73 EUR a click. One payment from a stranger (4.90 EUR). It is pre-revenue. The 29 EUR monthly subscription went live on 30 September and has no subscriber yet. WHY IT IS QUICK TO MAKE YOURS One command (node setup.mjs) writes your host, brand and operator details into about 300 places in 18 files, creates your owner tokens, runs the tests and lists what is left. Tested on a fresh copy on 2 October 2026. Three of the source readers cover all of Germany, so a new city is one configuration row. Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt were tested on 2 October 2026: 73 to 75 listings each in a single read, and a test search in Hamburg got 19 matches. A switch turns any source off without touching code, so you decide which sites you read. It starts on your own machine in about five minutes with no accounts and no keys. WHAT YOU GET All source code: Cloudflare Worker and D1 database, plain JavaScript, no framework, no build step. Source readers for WG-Gesucht, Kleinanzeigen, Immowelt, inberlinwohnen, Yad2, Telegram channels, and Facebook groups through Apify. 410 automated tests and the prompt of the scheduled quality agent that produced most of them. Stripe subscription checkout with a public cancellation page, login by email code, account page, partner links. Landing pages in six languages and the web app. The two ad campaigns as a Google Ads import file. A dated log of every product decision. A map of every table that holds personal data, for your privacy page. 14 days of written answers after the sale. WHAT YOU DO NOT GET The domain and the Homeport name. My Stripe, Cloudflare, Apify, language-model and ad accounts. User data: after the sale the users get one email inviting them to your service, and only those who opt in move. WHAT YOU MUST KNOW Listings are collected automatically from portals and, through Apify, from Facebook groups. The terms of Kleinanzeigen and of Facebook prohibit this. No permission exists. That risk is yours. ImmoScout24 is not covered. All traffic so far was paid. Running it costs about 11 to 17 USD a month at this volume. THE DEAL 690 USD. The first buyer who pays gets it. Payment through escrow (the buyer pays the escrow fee) or by card. The code arrives as one zip file within 24 hours of payment. Next step:
Add German cities: three of the readers cover all of Germany, so a city is one configuration row. Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt are already tested.

Bring an audience: sign-ups cost about 2 EUR each from search ads, and there has been no organic channel.

Offer it to relocation agencies as a private listing feed per client.

Add affiliate income from what renters need next, such as liability insurance and deposit guarantees.

I am an investor, not an operator. I would rather see the engine run by someone who works in rentals or relocation than keep it on a shelf.
