Who they are looking for

Co-Founder / Collaborator BioMind Is Looking For

The role I am hiring for first is a technical co-founder, and it is the most important decision I will make in the next twelve months. The role is not a senior engineer or a contractor. It is a partner who owns a meaningful slice of the company and of the mission.

Skill sets I am looking for

The strongest fit is someone who can own Protocol Engine v2 end to end — the phase-aware ranking system that caps daily actions at four to five, assigns non-overlapping time windows, deduplicates near-identical interventions, and enforces safety bounds at the architectural level. That means strong PHP and MySQL (the current stack), comfort working with JSON-heavy protocol data and reasoning pipelines, and enough AI intuition to integrate provider-agnostic reasoning models without locking to any single vendor. Bonus if there is experience with health data, privacy-sensitive architectures, or any prior work in digital health. A mobile background is a plus, not a requirement.

Working conditions

Remote-first, with a preference for someone based in India or an India-friendly time zone so we overlap at least four hours a day. Async by default — written updates, clear documentation, no mandatory meetings unless they are worth everyone's time. I work at a fast, focused pace and expect the same: shipping weekly, cutting scope without hesitation, and treating user retention as the single metric that matters. Face-to-face sessions in Bangalore or Chennai are welcome but not required. The culture I want to build is honest, calm, evidence-driven, and allergic to hype.

What it would be like to work with me

Direct feedback, no politics, no grandstanding. I write a lot and document decisions. I do not micromanage — once you own something, you own it fully. I care more about whether the user comes back tomorrow than whether the code is elegant. I say "I don't know" when I don't, and I expect the same in return. And I will still be answering support emails when we hit our millionth user.

Compensation and ownership

This is a co-founder role with equity, not a salaried position at this stage. The pre-seed round is being raised now, and equity structure will be discussed openly based on what you bring, how much you take ownership of, and vesting terms over four years with a one-year cliff. Typical range for a technical co-founder at this stage is 10 to 25 percent, negotiated in good faith. Once the round closes and revenue scales, a modest salary follows. I own the existing IP and the entity (BIOMIND HEALTH INTELLIGENCE PRIVATE LIMITED). Any new IP built after we partner is owned jointly by the company. Cap table, IP assignment, and vesting are documented cleanly before work begins.

What I am not looking for

Someone who wants a title without ownership. Someone who needs daily direction. Someone who optimizes for sounding impressive rather than shipping. Someone who builds health AI that fabricates confidence. That last one is the only non-negotiable.

If the mission of turning biological context into honest daily action for a billion people resonates, the first conversation will be a twenty-minute call — not a pitch. I want to understand how you think, not what you know.
