Privacy-first online safety education app for children aged 9–14
Safety Scout is a complete Android digital-safety education app designed for children aged 9–14, built to teach practical online-safety skills through an engaging, structured learning experience. The app features a six-chapter learning journey with interactive lessons, challenges, real-world scenarios and progress milestones. Children can build their Safety Passport, earn progress and patches, and continue through the curriculum at their own pace. A dedicated Parent Hub provides supporting information for parents and guardians, including region-specific online-safety resources for Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe. Safety Scout was designed with privacy as a core requirement. It does not require user accounts, advertising, analytics, cloud storage, GPS, camera, microphone or contacts access. Child progress is stored locally on the device, while Parent Hub credentials are protected using secure device storage. The application is built with React Native, Expo, Expo Router and TypeScript and includes the complete Android project and production-ready user interface. The project is currently going through Google Play production review and is being offered as a complete software/IP acquisition rather than as a template. Reason for selling
I enjoy building and completing software products, but my goal is to focus on developing new projects rather than operating and maintaining individual apps long term. Safety Scout is being sold so a buyer can take the completed product foundation forward and commercialise it.
