Chipster Kids — AI Literacy for Kids (Full SaaS, Built & Live) I built this over about a month: a subscription platform that teaches children AI literacy through short, gamified missions. Kids learn what AI actually is, where it fails, why it can be biased, and how to use it safely — through missions they have to genuinely pass (23/25 on a quiz) to unlock the next one. Every lesson, quiz, and image is AI-generated for the child's level and safety-filtered before they ever see it. No ads, no open chat, nothing to buy inside the kid's experience. What's built: • Parent dashboard — child profiles, screen-time limits, progress tracking, privacy controls • Kid experience — missions, collectible cards, streaks, private-by-default leaderboard • Full billing (Paddle), teacher/classroom groundwork Tech: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Supabase (Postgres/Auth, EU/UK hosted for GDPR + the UK Children's Code), Claude AI for generation + safety filtering, Paddle billing, deployed on Netlify. Honest status: it's fully live and works — but 0 users. I'm good at building, not marketing, and I'd rather this go to someone who can actually grow it than sit unused. AI literacy for kids is a genuinely under-served, future-proof niche — most kids don't get taught this until college, if ever. Next step: <p>- Marketing/distribution: this is the biggest opportunity — the product works, it just hasn't been put in front of the right audience yet (parenting creators, homeschool communities, edtech newsletters, school pilots).</p><p>- Teacher/classroom rollout: the groundwork for teacher tools and classrooms already exists and can be built out into a B2B/school offering.</p><p>- Content expansion: the mission/curriculum structure is designed to keep scaling level by level — more advanced missions can be added on top of the existing generation + safety-filter pipeline.</p><p>- SEO content: "AI for kids" is a rising search topic with very little quality content competing for it — a content/blog layer could drive organic signups cheaply.</p><p>- Partnerships: bundling with parenting apps, homeschool platforms, or kids' tablets/devices as a pre-installed or featured learning app.</p>
