Auto-records your Zoom, Teams and Meet calls locally, no bot, no cloud
I kept forgetting to record client calls, and every tool that remembered for me wanted to put a bot in the meeting and my clients' audio in its cloud. So I built Autorec: a native C++ tray app for Linux, Windows and macOS (Apple Silicon). It notices when a Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call starts and records the meeting window plus audio to a plain MP4 on your disk. Nobody sees a recording bot, because nothing joins the call. When the call ends, whisper.cpp transcribes it on your own CPU or GPU and writes TXT and SRT files. Summaries are optional and bring-your-own: any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including a local Ollama or LM Studio model. The free tier gives you 3 recordings per 24 hours, 40 minutes each, with every feature. A one-time license removes the limits on up to 5 devices. No subscription. Showcase only; not for sale.
