Spiritual conversations. Seeking a CEO co-founder: 50% sweat equity, negotiable.
KindVesper is a marketplace for private, recurring conversations about faith and life with a chosen spiritual Guide. I lead product and technology, and I am seeking a CEO co-founder to lead growth, partnerships, Guide recruitment and operations. A working MVP is already built: Guide discovery and preference-based suggestions, monthly memberships, booking, Zoom integration, private messages, Guide notes, a Guide studio, and Stripe billing and payout onboarding. The opportunity is to take this product to market and build a dependable service around it. Commercial traction has not yet been verified. The membership model is $70 for one, $99 for two, or $179 for four 20-minute appointments per month. Default platform fees are 25%, with 10% for the first 25 approved founding Guides, before payment processing and operating costs. The market opportunity is substantial, but willingness to pay must be tested. Census reported roughly 267 million U.S. adults in 2024; Pew's 2023 survey found 70% were spiritual in some way. Assuming 1% of that broad audience would pay $70 monthly for 12 months produces an illustrative $1.57 billion annual category member-spending hypothesis. This is not measured demand, platform revenue or a company forecast. The 1% paying-demand and 12-month retention inputs are assumptions. Our first mission is focused: recruit a pilot Guide cohort, reach one suitable community, win paying members, and learn why they renew. The proposed CEO co-founder position carries 50% sweat equity, negotiable. As part of this proposed compensation package, the CEO co-founder would also receive 25% of the business's monthly net profit, paid monthly, once agreed revenue and net-profit milestones have been achieved. The milestone amounts, definition of net profit and payment terms will be agreed together in the founder agreement. Ownership, vesting, decision rights and time commitment would be agreed together. If you have built partnerships, sold an early product or grown a community into a business, message me with what you have done and how you would approach our first members. Let's start with a product walkthrough.
