About LocalRank Genius
AI-era Local SEO & GEO audit SaaS with white-label reports for agencies
Key Highlights Complete, launch-ready SaaS in a fast-growing niche: Local SEO combined with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), i.e. visibility in AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Built for agencies: white-label PDF reports with each client's logo, colours and footer, and management of up to 50 client businesses per account. Near-zero running costs: no paid SEO data providers (no Ahrefs, Semrush or DataForSEO). The app relies on its own crawler plus free public APIs (Google PageSpeed, OpenStreetMap), so almost every subscription dollar would be margin. Pricing already built in: Free, Pro ($29/mo) and Agency ($79/mo) tiers, with quotas enforced server-side. Radical transparency as a selling point: every number is labelled as a verified fact, an estimate or a hypothesis, which agencies appreciate when justifying results to clients. Big opportunity for a new owner: connect Stripe, launch, and sell to local SEO agencies, a large market with a clear need for affordable, honest, AI-era reporting tools. Operations LocalRank Genius audits the website of a local business (plumbers, dentists, lawyers, roofers, restaurants, clinics…) and turns the results into a clear, prioritized action plan. When a user runs an audit, the app: Crawls up to 50 pages of the site (sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt included). Runs 30+ checks across 5 categories: Technical SEO, Local SEO, AI/GEO readiness, Content and Performance (Google PageSpeed, mobile and desktop). Calculates category scores and a weighted overall score. Builds an estimated geo visibility grid on an interactive map, lists real nearby competitors from OpenStreetMap, and identifies opportunity zones. Generates a prioritized action plan (up to 8 data-backed tasks) and a branded PDF report. Optionally, explains the report in plain language with AI and offers an SEO chatbot ("Ask Genius"). The core audit works without any AI key. It also includes competitor tracking, manual/CSV rank tracking, an admin back-office (users, plans, MRR, activity logs), 5 SEO landing pages, a blog, legal pages and 11 chapters of in-app technical documentation. Tech stack: TanStack Start (React 19, SSR), Vite, Tailwind CSS v4, shadcn/ui, Supabase (Postgres, authentication, Row-Level Security), Leaflet and Turf.js for maps. Monetization model: monthly subscriptions (Free / $29 / $79). Payment processing (Stripe or Paddle) is not connected yet, but the database is payment-ready; plans can currently be assigned from the admin area. Time commitment: once launched, estimated at [2–5] hours per week for maintenance and support, plus whatever time the owner puts into marketing. Customers The product is pre-revenue with no paying customers yet. You are buying a finished product, not an established customer base. Target customers: Primary: small and mid-size local SEO and marketing agencies that need affordable, white-label client reports. Secondary: local service businesses and freelancers who want to understand their Local SEO and AI search readiness. The market is international: the app supports worldwide country, region and city selection, and the interface is in English. Suggested acquisition channels: direct outreach to agencies (LinkedIn, Facebook groups), a free audit as a lead magnet, SEO content through the built-in blog and landing pages, and launch platforms such as Product Hunt. Financials Revenue: $0 (pre-revenue). Monthly expenses: approximately $50 per month ([hosting, Supabase, domain]). There is no revenue history, so there is no growth or decline to explain. Because the app uses no paid data providers, the cost of each additional customer is very low. The main variable costs are optional AI features and hosting at scale. Additional Notes What's included in the sale: full source code ([GitHub repository]), domain ([domain name]), Supabase project transfer, complete technical documentation, and [30] days of post-sale email support. Honest limitations, stated upfront: The GEO score measures on-site AI readiness, not live rankings inside ChatGPT or other AI engines. The geo visibility grid is a modelled estimate, clearly labelled as such, not a live Google Maps ranking. Competitor data comes from OpenStreetMap, whose coverage varies by region. For commercial scale, the new owner should move map tiles to a commercial provider (such as MapTiler or Stadia Maps), which is low-cost. Growth ideas for the new owner: connect Stripe, add Google Business Profile data, add real AI-mention tracking by querying AI engine APIs, and launch agency outreach. Launched / built: [08/2026].
