QuotePilot AI is a functional pre-revenue SaaS MVP built for metal fabrication companies that need to review RFQs and prepare quotations faster. Users can upload a PDF or TXT RFQ and QuotePilot automatically extracts key requirements such as materials, quantities, dimensions, tolerances, manufacturing processes, certifications, delivery terms and quality requirements. The system also detects missing information, conflicting specifications and potential quotation risks, then generates ready-to-send clarification questions for the customer and notes for the estimator. QuotePilot also includes a preliminary costing module where a company can enter its own material prices, machine rates, labor rates, setup costs, packaging, transport, overhead, contingency and target margin. The system then calculates estimated order cost, cost per part, recommended quotation price and expected gross profit. The product includes source evidence and confidence for extracted information, downloadable TXT/JSON/CSV reports, and safeguards designed to reduce AI hallucinations. Tech stack: Python, Streamlit and OpenAI API. Current status: functional MVP, pre-revenue, no active customers yet. The sale includes the complete source code, project files, documentation, test RFQs and the QuotePilot AI project/brand.
