DeskSprite is a desktop pet: a small animated character that lives directly on your screen, in a transparent always-on-top layer. It answers when you click it, looks up when your cursor comes close, and stays quiet while you work. It runs on Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+. What makes DeskSprite different is the AI pet maker. Upload 1-3 photos of your own cat, dog — or any character you like — and the AI generates a full set of action clips: idle, playful, cursor-reactive, walking. Your pet's real face, fur color and markings are kept intact. Every clip is automatically matted and packaged, then dropped into the app under My Pets. One click and your pet moves onto your desktop. Beyond the maker, DeskSprite is a full desktop pet app: a pet shop with more companions to adopt, interactions you can configure, and a built-in Pomodoro focus timer your pet respects — it naps until the bell rings.
