Kwip: Next-Day Courier for Malta Online Shops - Showcase Project

Kwip is a next-day courier service for online shops in Malta and Gozo. We collect parcels from your shop when your orders are packed and deliver them the next day, from €3.99 per drop (excl. VAT). Bookings, tracking and billing all run on our own web platform, built from scratch in Malta. What problem does Kwip solve? Small Maltese ecommerce stores lose time chasing couriers, working around fixed cutoff times and uploading manifests. Kwip replaces that with on-demand pickups: you book a collection slot when your order is ready, and the system shows you real available times based on live van capacity. How does Kwip work? Sign up online and see your price before talking to anyone. Add your deliveries and book a pickup slot when the parcels are packed. We collect, sort overnight and deliver next day on optimised routes. Your customer gets updates on WhatsApp, SMS or email and can confirm, reschedule or change address before the driver sets off. Every drop is scanned and photographed as proof of delivery. How much does Kwip cost? Delivery starts from €3.99 per drop excluding VAT, with simple €1 add-ons for things like extra parcels, larger parcels, cash on delivery and Gozo. No contract, no monthly minimum and no minimum parcels per pickup. Merchants are invoiced weekly, and cash on delivery is paid out weekly too. What happens if a delivery fails? Two retry attempts are included within two business days. If the parcel still can't be delivered, it comes back to our warehouse and is returned to the shop. Where does Kwip deliver? Across all of Malta, with a weekly delivery run to Gozo. Collections are from Malta addresses. Kwip operates Monday to Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Who is behind Kwip? Kwip is a bootstrapped, founder-led logistics tech startup from Qormi, Malta, built by software developer Duane Chetcuti. The courier fleet is the product, but the software is the advantage: custom dispatch, availability-based pickup slots, route planning and a merchant portal, with Shopify and WooCommerce integrations coming next.
