Notch - Sell Project
Project Overview
Every tinnitus app hands the user the same library of rain and white noise. Notch does the opposite: it synthesises the sound the user actually hears. Six sliders — pitch, width, fine tune, tremble, warmth, drift — until the phone is playing the exact thing in their head. From that one piece of information, three things follow. A shareable sound card (PNG, PDF and a real WAV rendered by the same engine) that lets someone finally demonstrate their tinnitus to a partner or a doctor. Night masking w...

What's Included
Source code, All related design work, All related data
The name "Notch" transfers with the sale, along with the app icon in all three iOS 18 variants, colour sets and launch screen. Full Xcode project, all 34 source files and the complete git history (25 commits), delivered as a git bundle or a transferred private repository. The StoreKit test configuration and the full test suite come with it. Documentation: architecture, a full feature inventory, the evidence behind the sound design, a setup and rebranding checklist, the copy voice guide, and the roadmap. Also included: a 30-minute call walking the buyer through the architecture, and 14 days of email support after the transfer. Not included: my Apple Developer account, my developer identity, or any App Store Connect record — the buyer ships under their own team, and every identifier to change is listed in docs/SETUP.md. There is no domain in the sale; the product page runs on a Vercel subdomain that stays with me.
Reason for Selling
I build across several niches and my own time goes to education technology. Launching a health-adjacent app properly means owning the audience and the support load in the tinnitus community, and I am not the right person to do that. The app is finished rather than abandoned — the last commit is a locale fix on the sound card, not a stalled feature. I would rather it ship under someone who wants that community than sit in a folder.

Project Development Timeline
This project was created on August 31, 2026 and last updated on September 10, 2026. The project has been in development for approximately 0.5 months, representing 13.662006461389 days of development time.
Technical Implementation Effort
Next Development Phase: <p>The obvious first move is to ship it. The app is ready to submit; what remains is the verification list in docs/SETUP.md, not development. An approved, live app is worth considerably more than an unlaunched one, and whoever does that work captures that difference.</p><p><br></p><p>After that, the growth is in the community rather than in ads. Tinnitus has active forums, subreddits, support groups and audiologists, and the shareable sound card is built to travel there: it is the first tool that lets someone show their tinnitus to another person instead of describing it. That is the feature people screenshot.</p><p><br></p><p>docs/ROADMAP.md is an honest inventory of what was left out on purpose and what is worth building next, roughly by value per unit of effort: one tasteful bedtime notification that opens straight into night coverage (highest impact, least code), a Lock Screen widget and Live Activity for a phone on the nightstand, an Apple Watch remote so coverage can start without a screen at 3am, and a short generated video of the card so the sharing travels further. The app is English only today — the string catalog is complete with all 167 keys, so adding a language is translation work, not code work.</p><p><br></p><p>There is also room in pricing. The current model is a single $9.99 unlock; comparable apps charge $59-70 a year. Nothing in the code assumes the current model.</p>
